Here's my easy quick step guide to Dungeoneering
First up, why would you want to go Dungeoneering?
For starters, there's huge amounts of XP to gain from it, you can train your skills while gaining points for….you've guessed it…. Awesome Weapons.
So, Where do I get started?
Before you start, Dungeoneering is dangerous. You must make sure you're prepared.
It's advised you have a high level of Attack, Strength, Defence & Prayer.
What should I take with me?
I would take a few prayer potions, and a lot of food. Here's an example of what I would take.
Of course, a dragon weapon would be advisable if you're using melee.
And don't forget your food & potions.
Where do I go when I'm ready?
Use the command ;;Dung
This will teleport you to a safe room. Here you can prepare your prayers & potions etc.
Preparing prayers
Prepare yourself by setting up your 'Quick Prayers'
Try and use the best protection & skill increasing ones you can.
Here's the ones I'd select.
You ready? Lets go.
Going in for the attack
When you've got yourself ready with prayers & potions, attack and hope for the best.
Using Ranged Attacks
If you're smart enough to use ranged attacks here's a trick which will help you.
Use objects in the dungeon to block the NPC from attacking you, while you fire at them.
If you were fighting an NPC which uses ranged or magic, it would be a good idea to use a dragonhide armour.
So you survived.
After you've killed an NPC, you will be given a number of points.
These points can then be used as we saw earlier, to buy new gear.
If you wish to return to spawn, use ;;home
Final TIP : Always prepare to die. If you don't want to lose something, don't take it in with you.
